The Sevillo Ready-to-Eat (RTE) program delivers delicious time and labor savings with thaw-and-serve ingredients. Our robust FDA compliant RTE program delivers a wide variety of ingredients that save time and labor with uncompromising quality and the highest food safety standards. RTE value-added roasted and grilled products can safely be thawed and immediately served warm or cold.

Sevillo Fine Foods Ready-to-Eat (RTE) fire grilled and fire roasted fruits and vegetables are placed on hold, tested for indicator pathogens by approved third-party ISO accredited and certified laboratories, then released for sale after receiving passing results for critical microbiological tests.

Hazard Analysis & Risk Based Preventative Controls (HARPC)

In compliance with the US FDA Code of Federal Regulations and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Sevillo Fine Foods RTE finished products fall under specific HARPC plans that include risk-based assessments, preventative controls, critical control points, monitoring, verification and corrective actions for non-compliance of biological, chemical, physical, allergen, radiological and terrorist threats and hazards.

Pathogen & Other Microbiological Testing

Indicator microbiological pathogen and spoilage organism testing is conducted on all RTE food products to determine the absence of harmful foodborne pathogens including listeria monocytogenes, salmonella and E. Coli O157. Testing is performed by accredited ISO/IEC 17025 third party laboratories.
